1. The Stockholm Metro-The World’s Longest Underground Art Gallery:
There is a history behind this unique art gallery of Sweden. The Swedish authorities decided to build a metro network in the city Stockholmin 1941 for the convenience of the people and its work began. Built 50-60 years ago,, over 100 feet below road level, these stations are amazing examples of engineering and art. Gradually, as per the requirement, a total of 100 metro stations were built along new roots till 1994, covering a distance of approximately 108 kms. Its 47 stations are underground.
