Introduction:
The biggest misconception about observation is that we consider it bad manners. But the intention behind your observation is either good or bad. We all know observation as ‘The act of overseeing somebody or something especially for backbiting‘. Wait! Wait! Are you thinking of that uncle or aunt from the neighborhood or some relative who keep an eye on everyone? What if I put the words ‘learning or knowing’ instead of ‘backbiting‘. And it is the exact meaning of observation that ‘The act of watching somebody or something carefully especially to learn or know something’.

Look at this picture. It is to clear one more myth related to observation that observing is all about seeing. But it include multiple senses like hearing, smelling, touching & tasting. That means even blind people can observe.
Observation plays a very important role in our lives. Think of any kid in your family or in neighbor. Kids are imitating that they see in family. They observe everything surround them. Sometimes, they become our source of entertainment. Often their games are inspired by their family member’s profession and they like their father, mother & some other members of family.
At this stage of life, kids learn most of the things by observing & they are curious to know everything. Their observation skill blossom in childhood. Here is a tip for you. Try to answer kids’ random questions rather than scolding them. We would not have had many great scientists if their curiosity had not been satisfied in childhood.
Not only human babies but also babies of other living beings like animals & birds also learn most of the things in their earlier stage of life through observing their parents and other animals of their species.
